Unlock More Roles with Additional Photos

When you sign up with Casting Collective, we ask you to upload the four standard photos: a headshot, a full-length photo, a full-length smart photo, and one other photo of your choice. However, did you know that uploading a few more photos can significantly increase your chances of getting booked?

Additional photos don’t just fill space on your profile, they help casting directors see the full picture of who you are and what you can bring to a role. When productions ask for something specific, having a wider range of images ready means you’re more likely to be the perfect fit.

The Most Useful Photos to Upload

From my experience, here are the additional photos that often come in handy:

  • A full-length body shot in swimwear or underwear
  • Clear photos of both hands, palms up and down

We also ask for a fresh head-and-shoulders selfie every time you check in for a job. These selfies show productions the real you, right now. We delete them from our system after six weeks, so your profile stays up to date.

Don’t worry, these selfies don’t need to be polished or professional, just a quick snap on your phone is perfect.

Show Your Skills

Upload photos that show your skills, or costumes you own. For example, you in a tuxedo, playing football, doing ballet, or even dressed as Santa. These images help us pitch you when productions need specific talents or looks. You’d be surprised how often requests for niche skills come up!

A quick tip: avoid photos of yourself wearing costumes or uniforms provided by previous productions. We want to see your current, authentic self, the person and wardrobe you bring to set.

Why a Body Photo Matters

Uploading a body shot in underwear or swimwear can feel a bit daunting, but it’s really useful. Productions often need to match body shapes exactly, especially if you’re doubling for an actor. Clothes can hide your shape, so having a clear photo helps us place you more easily.

Remember, it’s not mandatory, only upload what you’re comfortable with. But having this on file can open up more opportunities.

Hands Up for Hand Photos

One of the most common jobs we get is finding hand doubles. If we already have photos of your hands, palms up and down, you’ll be the first person we check. Even if you’re not sure about other photos, please upload hand shots. It’s a simple way to get noticed for more work.

Upload Your Additional Photos Now

Upload as many additional photos as you like.

These extra photos might just be the difference between getting that role or missing out.
