BBC Elstree Studios

By train

Get the Train from St Pancras to Elstree and Borehamwood (20 minutes). Then catch a cab to the studios.

By car

Take the A41 heading north out of London. Keep driving until you get onto the A1 Continue, crossing over various roundabouts. Start following signs for Borehamwood Follow signs for Borehamwood/Shenley until you reach Elstree Way. Pass the ‘Corporate Express’ building on your left. After half a mile you will reach a double roundabout, go straight over following signs to Town Centre and Elstree. At next roundabout go past Elstree Film Studios on roundabout and take next exit onto High Street. Turn right into Clarendon Road Studios on right.

Black Island Studios

9-11 Alliance Road, W3 0RA.

Park Royal tube on the Piccadilly line. Turn right out of station and take 4th right into Alliance Road. Studios halfway down on left.

By car

Take A40 out of London. At Burger King before Park Royal underground station take slip road off A40 (signposted Alliance Road) Turn left into Alliance Road Studios half way down on left.

Bray Studios

Train either from Waterloo to Windsor (50 minutes) or Paddington to Maidenhead (30 minutes). You will then need to take a taxi, which will take 15 minutes.

By car:

Directions from M4: Come off the M4 at junction 6 and follow signs for Windsor. After 1 mile take the left hand slip road down to a roundabout, follow signs to the A308 to Maidenhead. Follow the A308 over 2 mini roundabouts for approximately 3 miles. Bray studios are situated on the right hand side of the road after the Oakley Court Hotel.

Park Royal tube on the Piccadilly line. Turn left out of station and take 1st right into Dukes Road.

By car:

Take A40 out of London. At Burger King before Park Royal underground station take slip road off A40 (signposted Alliance Road) Turn 4th left into Dukes Road.

Ealing Studios

Take the Thames rail from Paddington to Ealing Broadway, then a 10-minute walk.

By tube

To South Ealing (Piccadilly line) then a 10-minute walk. Or to Ealing Broadway (District/Central line) then a 10-minute walk.

By Car
A40 – Hanger Lane Roundabout- A406 North Circular going south, turn right into Uxbridge Road, then into Ealing Broadway. Take the left filter at Marks & Spencers. Turn right immediately after the 2nd
mini roundabout onto Ealing Green. Follow the road round and take the last turning right into the studios.

A4 (Great West Road) – as it goes under Junction 2 of M4 by Texaco Garage, turn north up South. Ealing Road, which then becomes St Marys Road. Continue until Ealing Green is on the left. Just before 1st mini-roundabout turn left. Follow the road round and take the last turning right into the studios.

M4 (East into London) – Come off at Junction 2. Turn first left (almost immediately off the slip road) into Lionel Road T junction at the end, turn left into Popes Lane. Continue until you get to traffic lights at a cross roads and turn right into South Ealing Road which automatically joins St Marys Road.

Elstree Film Studios

Shenley Road, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 1JG

By train:

Get the Train from St Pancras to Elstree and Borehamwood (20 minutes). Come out of the station, head for the high street and turn right. Walk the length of the High Street; you will see Tescos on your right. The studios are situated just over the roundabout. This walk takes approximately 10 minutes. Or take a cab.

By tube:

To South Ealing (Piccadilly line) then a 10-minute walk. Or to Ealing Broadway (District/Central line) then a 10-minute walk.

By car:

A41 – Take the A41 and follow signs for The North, Hatfield and Aylesbury. Continue on the A41 following signs to Hendon. Eventually you will see Brent Cross Shopping Centre on your left. Continue to Hendon Central Underground Station and continue over the junction. Go straight over the next junction and then get into the middle or right hand lane. At the next junction continue following the A41 until you meet the A1. Take the A1 following signs for Hatfield, St Albans and Borehamwood. Take the turning off the A1 marked Borehamwood and follow the bend sign posted Borehamwood and Shenley. After 1/2 a mile you will come to a double roundabout. Go straight over both heading for the town centre. At the next roundabout take the first exit on your left directly into Elstree studios.

M25 – Exit the M25 at Junction 23, which will bring you straight on to the South Mimms roundabout. Take the exit off the roundabout marked A1 (London) and continue down the A1 for approximately 3 miles. Start to slow down as there is a small turning off the A1 (on your left hand side) sign posted B5135 to Borehamwood. This will take you on to the bridge over the A1. At the (half) roundabout take the second turning off towards the town centre and you should see a BP garage on your right. You are now on Elstree Way. Stay in the left hand lane and continue over the next two small roundabouts, still heading toward the town centre. At the next large roundabout you should see the Studios on your left and you can turn into the studios from the roundabout.

Greenford Studios

Greenford tube on the central line. Take underground to Greenford. Go to Hill Rise opposite station. Follow road round and take 2nd right into Norwich Road. Turn right into Halifax Road. This leads into Taunton Road.

By car:

Take A40 out of London. Go under Hangar Lane underpass. Bear left onto Long Drive off Western Avenue (A40). Turn left into Bristol Road. Turn right into Halifax Road. Turn right and road becomes Taunton Road.

Langley Studios

Langley Business Park Station Road, Langley, SL3 8DS

Langley Business Centre is situated on the east side of Station Road, adjacent to Langley railway station and just to the north of Langley town centre. Langley railway station is within a five-minute walk of Langley Business Centre and provides services to London Paddington. The station provides direct trains to Paddington, Hayes and Harlington, Slough and Reading

By car:

Junction 5 of the M4 is just over one mile south from Langley Business Centre providing excellent access to the M4 and M25 and the surrounding motorway network.

Longcross Studios

Train from Waterloo to Longcross (trains only run at peak times to Longcross) At all other times travel from Waterloo to Virginia Water (short cab ride away).

By car:

Exit M25 at Junction 11. At roundabout take exit towards St Peters Hospital A320. At next roundabout take 2nd exit towards St Peters Hospital A320. On passing the entrance to St Peters Hospital, continue on road towards Chertsey A320. At next small roundabout take 1st exit towards Longcross (Holloway Hill) B386. Continue on B386 for approximately 4 miles. At next roundabout take the 3rd exit right onto Chobham Lane. Longcross is on your left after approx 100 yards.

Pinewood Studios

By train:

Train from Paddington Station to Slough. Then take a cab which will take about 10 minutes. You can also go from Paddington to Langley and then get a cab. From Marylebone take the Chiltern Line overland train to Gerrards Cross. The journey lasts approx 30 minutes. It will then take 10 minutes by taxi (based at the station) to reach Pinewood Studios.

By tube:

To Uxbridge (Piccadilly or Metropolitan Line) and then take a taxi to the Studios.

By car:

Exit the M4 at junction 5 signposted Langley. Take the Langley exit off the roundabout. At the traffic lights, turn right signposted Langley. After 1/2 mile at the mini-roundabout take the 2nd exit. Go under a railway bridge. At the next roundabout, at a pub called The Red Lion, take the exit signposted Iver Heath. At the next roundabout go straight over into Pinewood Road. Pinewood studios are on the left-hand side after about 1/2 a mile.

Shepperton Studios

Studios Road, Shepperton, Middlesex, TW17 0QD

By train:

Trains from London Waterloo to Shepperton (normal journey time from Waterloo to Shepperton station about 50 mins). Taxis from Shepperton station take around 10 minutes to reach the Studios.NB Early in the morning the taxi office outside Shepperton station may not be open. If your call time is very early you are advised to book in advance.

By tube:

Take the Piccadilly line west from central London to Hatton Cross. This journey will take around 30 minutes, and a taxi to the Studios will take an additional 15 minutes.

By car:

M25 – Take the exit at Junction 13 for A30 (Staines bypass) and follow to the ‘Crooked Billet’ roundabout. On approach keep to the left and follow signs for A308 (third exit.) Follow A308 and go straight across the next roundabout. Continue on the A308 to the first set of traffic lights, at this junction turn right into Ashford Road. On the right you will see the Queen Mary Reservoir. At the bottom of this road turn right at the mini roundabout into Charlton Road and follow for approximately 1.5 miles until you see the reservoir on your right. Turn right into Studios road, just before the church.

M3 – At junction 1 take the A308 to Staines. At the fourth set of lights turn left into Littleton Road. (Ignore the sign A244 to Shepperton at the previous set of lights.) Go down Littleton Road, straight over the mini roundabout, continue for 1.5 miles through Charlton Village, and carry on until you see the reservoir on your right, turn right into Studios Road, just before the church.

Teddington Studios

Take the train from Waterloo (BR) to Hampton Wick (40 minutes). On leaving the station cross the road to the bus stop and take the number 281 or 285 to St Albans Church. Cross the road and turn into Ferry Road and then bear right into Broom Road.

By car:

There is no parking at the studios so public transport is advised. Take A4 out of London. At Hogarth roundabout take 2nd exit A316 (signposted The South West) Go over Chiswick Bridge. At Chalkers Corner (junction with A205) go over roundabout. At Manor Circus (North Sheen) take 2nd exit. At Richmond Circus (Richmond) take 2nd exit. Go over Twickenham Bridge.At St Margarets roundabout take 3rd exit A3004 into St Margarets Road (signposted Richmond Park) At St Margarets Station cross bridge then take 2nd turning right into Crown Road. At The Crown public house (mini-roundabout) turn right A305 (no sign) At 3rd traffic lights turn left A310 Turn left into Ferry Road.Turn right into Broom Road the studios are on the left.

Three Mills Studios

By tube:

The nearest Underground station is Bromley-By-Bow. Take the pedestrain subway underneath the main road (A12), at the top of the stairs turn right and walk down the hill. Turn right at Tesco into Three Mill Lane and over the bridge.

By car:

From the city take the A11 over Bow flyover to the second set of traffic lights. Turn right into Rick Roberts way, round the roundabout and left back on the A11 again heading westbound. Turn left into Sugar House Lane and follow the road to the security lodge.

Twickenham Studios

The Barons, St Margarets, Twickenham, Middlesex, TW1 2AW

Train from Waterloo to St Margarets (30 minutes). Turn right out of the station onto St Margarets Road and then left onto The Barons. You will see the studios directly in front of you. (15 min walk).

By car:

Leave London on M3. Get off when the M3 turns into the A316. Stay on this road until you reach the junction with St. Margarets Road. Then turn off to your right onto St. Margarets Road Turn left onto The Barons and the entrance to the studios is on your left.

Warner Bros Studios (Formally Leavesden)

Fast trains travel direct from London Euston to Watford Junction, and take less than 20 minutes. Then take a taxi to the studios, which will take ten minutes.

By car:

M25 clockwise – For SAT NAV USERS USE POSTCODE WD25 7GS and exit junction 19 and take the slip road to the roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto A41 and continue onto the slip road towards the A405. Keep left and follow signs to Warner Bros. Studio Tour onto Aerodrome Way. Cross over the 1st roundabout and take the 1st exit onto Warner Drive.

M25 anti clockwise – For SAT NAV USERS USE POSTCODE WD25 7GS and exit junction 20. Take the A41 towards Watford. At the roundabout take first exit and continue onto the slip road towards the A405. Keep left and follow signs to Warner Bros. Studio Tour onto Aerodrome Way. Cross over the 1st roundabout and take the 1st exit onto Warner Drive.
