Film & TV

There are three main agreements used in and around the London area

The FAA/PACT Agreement, The BBC Equity Agreement and ITV Equity Agreement.

FAA/PACT Supporting Artiste Agreement

1st April 2009

Day rate

Based upon a 9 hour stipulated period inc meal break, between 7am and 10pm (before 7am nighttime overtime will apply. After 10pm Nighttime overtime will apply- Unless called as a nightshoot)

Supporting Artiste

The Supporting Artiste is not required to give individual characterisation in a role or speak dialogue other than crowd noise or reaction.

Walk-on 1 is not required to give individual characterisation nor to speak any word or line of dialogue. Crowd noises shall not be deemed to be dialogue in this context. Night rates are one and a half times the day rates.

Photographic

The industry standard for a photographic job is £100 per hour. If the Artiste is needed for more than a few hours a daily or half daily rate can be negotiate. E.g. half daily £300 full day £500.

Similar to commercials, featured Artistes will also have a buy out amount – determined by usage of medium and length of usage.

Notes:
Background on Photographic jobs is normally £90 for a ten hour day
