BBC Supporting Artiste/Walk-on Rates

Supporting Artiste

The Supporting Artiste is not required to give individual characterisation in a role or speak dialogue other than crowd noise or reaction.

Walk-on 1 is not required to give individual characterisation nor to speak any word or line of dialogue. Crowd noises shall not be deemed to be dialogue in this context. Night rates are one and a half times the day rates.

Calls at any other studio/base/location beyond TFL Zones 3 and within 40 miles of Charing Cross	£12.66 per call
Calls at or before 06.00 hours	£12.50 per call

Agent commission fees

All the following fees are NOT normally subject to agents commission: Haircuts, supply of car/dog, fares. costume allowance and:

Photographic jobs

The industry standard for a photographic job is £100 per hour. If the Artiste is needed for more than a few hours a daily or half daily rate can be negotiate. E.g. half daily £300 full day £500.

Similar to commercials, featured Artistes will also have a buy out amount – determined by usage of medium and length of usage.
